Pressing Instructions - DTF Transfers - Cold Peel

Our DTF transfers are a cold peel transfer. Use a clamshell or swivel heat press. A household iron or Cricut EasyPress won't give enough even heat and pressure.

Press settings

  • Temperature: 285°F
  • Time: 30 seconds
  • Pressure: Medium-firm
  • Peel: Cold peel

Step by step

  1. Set your heat press to 285°F with medium-firm pressure.
  2. Pre-press the garment until it's dry to remove moisture.
  3. Lay the transfer face up on the garment.
  4. Cover it with quality parchment paper. Do not use Teflon.
  5. Press for 30 seconds.
  6. Remove the garment gently, without bending or lifting the transfer.
  7. Let it cool on a flat surface for about 1–2 minutes, until it's cold to the touch.
  8. Peel smoothly from the corner with the most coverage.

Care instructions

  • Turn the garment inside out before washing and drying.
  • Machine wash in cold water only. No fabric softener.
  • Lay flat to dry, or tumble dry on low heat if needed.
  • Do not iron directly on the design.
